Aderiye: PDP chairman warns against violence

The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Idowu Faleye has implored members of the party in the state not to foment trouble before, during and after the burial of the slain chieftain of the party, Omolafe Aderiye.
Faleye who made this plea in press statement he made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday stated that those who killed the former Chairman of the state chapter of Road Transport Workers Union have been handed over to God, adding that law of retribution is also there to catch up with them.
According to him there is no amount of trouble fomented by our members that can reverse the death of the PDP chieftain, saying that all members should take solace in God over the dastardly act of callousness of the killer of this prominent son of Ekiti State.
The chairman who said that the death of Omolafe Aderiye is very painful to the party saying that the diseased had in a great measures assisted the party to victory in its struggle to the present status of the party in Government togas being carried by PDP in Ekiti State.
We are now calling on the Nigerian police to make sure that the killers of Aderiye are brought to book so that it will serve as deterrent to others
It will be recalled that some gunmen on the 25th September, 2014 went to the office of Omolafe Aderiye and shot him to death; while the security agencies were hunting for the killers members of the public were on the street protesting the killing which they linked to the opposition All Progressive Congress party.
