President Goodluck Jonathan has been honoured by the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, in recognition of equitably handling the resources of Nigeria and for excellence in Christian stewardship.
The conferment of the Primatial Award was made on Tuesday when a group of the church members led by the head of the church, Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria, the Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh visited the President.
After receiving the award, President Jonathan reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the quality of lives of Nigerians, but pointed out that the transformation would not happen overnight.
President Jonathan said that the government was progressing in the right direction with attention to those critical areas that would improve the economy, promising to do his best
