major headaches couples deal with before the wedding

There is nothing more delighting and fulfilling other than to be in love with someone who shares the same feelings and dreams you do and it gets even much more beautiful when that person drops to a knee, pulls out a ring and pops the famous “will you marry me?” question.
As joyous and memorable as this dream day could be, it could be twice as annoying and stressful and confusing as you’d have to deal with drama from family and friends before and when the actual D-day arrives.
With that in mind, here are the most common gripes intending couples face and how to pre-empt them.
1. Dealing with haters
Dare-Art-Alade-and-Deola-AyeniWhether you like it or not, there must always be those who will not be as supportive or elated as the rest of your friends and family. In as much as you are successful, things like that are bound to happen. If that doesn’t happen to you, be thankful because you are in the minority (strangely).
You’re going to have to be very observant and sensitive about people around you and how they react to your good news.
2. Getting closer to family and friends
This period is your opportunity to get closer to those that mean a lot to you (family and friends). Never forget your generous uncles and aunties; tell them the good news. Make out time for your “besties” to hang out and catch fun recounting the proposal to them. It won’t end there; they will always call you to keep abreast of the wedding preparations and date and chuck in help where they can.

3.Revealing an exact date
weddin7Everyone is excited. Some of your family and friends are already asking for details. If you have no idea where and when the wedding will be, come up with a polite blanket statement you can use whenever someone asks.
Say something like, “We’re so excited just being engaged right now. I’m sure there will be plenty of time to figure out the details in the coming months.” They’ll take the hint.
5. Dealing with an ex
This may sound odd but the truth is, some exes don’t know when to stop stalking you. At this moment you want to make sure you focus on the new step you’ve taken with your partner and stay off dates from exes and stalkers. They may even have some bad intention planned out for you. So stay safe and tell your partner about anything that comes up with your ex.
