The Federal Government has announced public holidays for Friday April 3 and Monday April 6 to enable Christians mark the Good Friday and Easter Monday celebrations respectively.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Minister of Interior, Mr. Abba Moro, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Abubakar Magaji.
Moro urged all Christians and Nigerians to imbibe the spiritual benefits of the Easter celebrations in their daily living.
According to him, such benefits include love, peace, justice and kindness.
The Minister urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for the peace and unity of the country.
Moro also congratulated Nigerians and wished the nation a happy celebration.
