President of the group, Yerima Shettima in an interview with Correspondent Joy Kalio said continuing with emergency rule in those states will make no sense since the president is not ready to sack the governors and pave way for the appointment of military administrators.
He advised the federal government to tackle the loop holes in the security agencies.
You would recall that the emergency rule in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states was first declared on May 14th 2013 by President Jonathan as a step to combat activities of Boko Haram.
The third tranche of six-month emergency rule expires on Thursday.
