Aminu Oguche, the man suspected to have planned the bombing of Nyanya Motor Park, in Abuja, and in which 70 people died, has been freed. He was arraigned before, and eventually discharged by, an Abuja federal high court after prosecution failed to prove the two-count terrorism charge preferred against him. The court discharged Oguche based on lack of diligent prosecution by the state.
The incident happened last April, after which Oguche fled to the Sudan and eventually repatriated by the Interpol on the request of the Nigerian government to face trial
