CHIBOK GIRLS: PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS URGE FG TO NEGOTIATE WITH INSURGENTS.

Chibok Girls
One of the presidential hopefuls for the 2015 election, Williams Ad’ojo Jedidiah has urged the federal government to negotiate with the Boko Haram sect for the release of the remaining 219 Chibok girls abducted over six months ago.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja yesterday, 44-year-old Ad’ojo Jedidiah noted that though the Boko Haram insurgents have caused the nation havoc and displaced many people, there was the need for total reconciliation and negotiation, which will bring about the release of the girls.
He said if given the opportunity to be president, he would offer a hand of friendship to the sect members but if they refuse to be law abiding citizens, he would flush them out with military might.
“There is nobody that is above the country, Nigeria. I would advise the federal government to negotiate for the release of the girls and ensure that peace is returned to that part of the country.
“If the Boko Haram sect however refuses to accept peaceful approach, military might should be used against them as no individual entity can threaten the peace and unity of the country,” Ad’ojo Jedidiah noted.
Speaking further on the insecurity in the country, Ad’ojo Jedidiah said with the new internal security system also known as “watching eyes security system” which is developed locally and by Nigerians, issues of crime, corruption and insecurity would be a thing of the past if only there is political will to handle it.
He further called on the federal government to use the opportunity offered by the new security system to tackle insecurity as the innovation makes it easier for security agencies to have all information they need without stepping out of their offices for investigations.
Ad’ojo Jedidiah also called on well-meaning Nigerians to contribute positively to ensure that a well deserved president, just like himself, emerges in 2015 as this would ensure the security of lives and property in Nigeria.
