Lagos Schools Now to Resume October 8



The Lagos State Government on Sunday announced that primary and secondary schools in the State will no longer resume on September 22, 2014.
Rising from a meeting with stakeholders, the Governor Babatunde Fashola said schools will now resume on October 8,
The governor had earlier announced that public and private primary and secondary schools in Lagos will resume on September 22 announced by the federal government.
Fashola met with principals, vice principals and headmasters of secondary and primary schools in the state.
Noble Information recalls that most of the States controlled by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South West had shifted schools resumption to October 6 and 8.
Recently, the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau met with the 36 State Commissioners for Education, during which it was agreed that the deadly Ebola Virus Disease has been contained to a large extent hence, September 22 date was fixed.
