One corp member has been decamped from NYSC camp, Wamako LGA in Sokoto state. This was made known by the camp commandant on NYSC parade ground during evening parade on thursday 1st june, 2017.
The NYSC camp commandant explained that the corp member was found leaving the camp and coming in with his car, sleeping in his car and also not following the activities done in the orientation camp while he is duely registered in the orientation camp.
He said "this action is going to serve as a lesson to other corp members who are not disciplined".
"Concerning affected corp member, we called his uncle who works in the national assembly to inform him about our decision and we were meant to understand that he (corp member) was brought up by his mother but not disciplined".
The three weeks NYSC orientation is meant to discipline corp members and makes them humble.
